I always liked when people would complain about the heat when all they had to do was walk to their car from an air conditioned building. Meanwhile I spent my days in full FR clothing in the direct sun for 12 hours. Yea. Go eff yourself.

And I had no right to complain because the guys in the Permian and Eagle Ford had it waaay worse.

 

My Dad had a saying he used often.

"He who hesitates is lost".

It always sounded Biblical to me, not sure if it is.

Anyway, it seems I made a gross miscalculation on the pie front.

The SATURDAY hours are 7 to noon.

I got there at 1215. There was already a "SOLD OUT" sign in the parking lot.

So, I'm drowning my sorrows with a sundae at Graeter's.

There's a couple errands I could run while I'm out.

Still kinda disappointed about the pie. I was looking forward to a nice piece of peach pie.
