Mark and I are like brothers now, we work together helping each other find loads and book them for each other if need be.

see this statement proves how little you know about a LP, my truck is owned by TEL, they are not a carrier. My lease with them is between me and them. I lease onto USA Truck, they pay my payment directly from my settlement if I don’t pay ahead of time which I am going to start doing. USA truck pays LPO’s the same as any other O/O using USA Truck DOT. So please explain to me how you can say what you said? You have no facts to support your statement!

If you have a falling out with usa aka the Germans can you take the truck anywhere you want
Now the bigger issue with truck prices falling through the floor I am sure that an easy to to qualify for lp is way above market value .....lots of issues with this sort of financing so yes the plus side is purely on the carrier ....

I could take it to another company, yes, there may be a fee and a security deposit to do so, but that would depend on the reason for the falling out. If it was safety, or company policy issues I’m sure a fee would apply. If it was more along the lines of them stealing or double brokering like super ego did, then I would get a free move. I’m not sure what kind of falling out you can hav with a carrier when I dispatch myself, I choose my own loads, I plan the route and fuel solutions. The only thing they dictate is service to the trailers and on time for all appointments.

i didn’t get my truck recently, so comparing prices now to summer of 2021 is apples and oranges. But at the same point proves my point. In 4 weeks I am paying 2845 and another 360 in tack on charges as well as about 800-1100 for maintenance escrow. And I’m still succeeding in this freight market. I’m paying over $4000 in 4 weeks. While other o/o are turning in their equipment and small companies are folding.

my point in all this is simple. A lease purchase is only good if you are with the right carrier and know how to run a business.

Again even the fact you have to pay a fee or justify your move would never sit well with me ....the financing also seams very expensive in this environment but i.m just a dumb truck trivet and don't understand the magic that is lp ....

You can’t get brand new for what I am paying. Clearly you don’t know the price of equipment. I’m done responding to you, it’s a lost cause.

Sir I operate a fleet with 12 trucks we buy and sell trucks enough that I know the market well .....running new trucks in this freight environment just seems very risky for a one truck operator

    Opus and Richierich76 Thank this.

I did have a disagreement with the carrier I was leased to. In my contract with truck finance company. The two options were if you separated from the carrier. You would have to sign onto another approved carrier(that they agree with. The 2nd option you could pay a 30% of the fair market value of truck and do as you please. I chose 2nd option on my 2021 cascadia with 5yr 750k warranty & apu with some other bells & whistles. I got it brand new.. it has worked well for me while I was with them. I'm doing well now. The truck will be paid off in 2025. God's will. . I don't run hard at all less than 1500 miles a week or less. All the best on your journey.

Yet I’m doing it, and successful at that. Nothing you say can take that away.
