Well, it’s that time again. New drama. If you don’t want to get pissed off, scroll past this post.

Have a buddy, Dilbert Anthony who has a son, KC. KC’s basically garbage. Dilbert got married a couple years ago to GI Jane. KC decided that he didn’t like Jane’s rule, packed up to live with his mom, Mrs Burnout and her current husband, Mr Burnout.

KC got some moron pregnant and found himself a father to a 1 month premie little girl. The State ruled the parents unfit. Dilbert and Jane tried to get custody, but custody was granted to the Burnouts. KC weaseled his way back into the house and had a KC moment. Baby girl ended up with blunt force trauma to the head. Mr Burnout did commence to opening a can of whup arse on KC Anthony. Cops were called and KC played the Crazy Card. The State got its head out of its arse and offered full custody, no visitation to Dilbert and Jane. Baby girl is expected to make a full recovery. Pissed off? I am. This all started with, “Hey Dilbert, let’s go for a motorcycle ride!” “Can’t Six…gotta run and grab baby girl!”

If you were Dilbert, on a 600 mile trip to pick up your granddaughter from a hospital, what would you say to the Burnouts? What would you say to KC Anthony? I said my part and Dilbert got quiet. He didn’t like what I had to say. I warned Dilbert that either around Christmas or the first birthday, KC or Mrs Burnout will show up to his house, talking “family” and holiday cheer, and wanting to be a part of baby girl’s life.

“I thought the baby would change him. I love my son but..”

    You’re not listening, Dilbert.

    “But Six…”
(wait for it….you know it’s coming. You cannot have a conversation in the modern world without mentioning this)
    “…I BLOCKED HIM ON FACEBOOK!”

    I give up.

Dilbert and Jane , have full custody, no visitation. In Dilbert's shoes, I would not say anything to KC or the Burnouts. The law has already said it with "no visitation". I wouldn't have a problem protecting that child from KC , the Burnouts, or anyone.

Protecting children is everyone's business'. They have in my eyes given up the right to see the child and they don't deserve any explanations or words. If/when they try to come to my home to visit, they would not get in my door. I would call the police, then go to the door and tell them , the police are on their way. That would be that.

My nephew and his significant other have his S/O's two granddaughters, they found them in the nick of time, they were alone and filthy , so hungry they had been trying to eat the crib. The teeth marks were in the wood. They were maybe six months and a year and a half.

Today they are healthy and beautiful @ 4 yrs and 5 or 5 1/2. My nephew and his partner love them dearly and they are the happiest family. PawPaw and Mommy, fit them well. However , I did hear that her son went to court and got permission to visit when he was turned away. They have been lucky, he hasn't been around. So Dilbert may have to deal with visits in his home.

You may want to advise him Six, to put the child first. Somebody has to. He has to understand that his son most likely will never change. I am happy they are caring for the child , I am happy for the small fraction of kids that get taken in by someone who truly loves them.

The abusers , well hopefully they will get what they deserve.

Yes , I get mad. I have gone after parents when I have seen them abuse a child. I don't know how anyone could not. There is no reason no excuse, none. I hope Dilbert and Jane do right by their grandchild. It is a wonderful thing that you care. Too many people don't.

    @TripleSix

I think my conversation would start with Jane. Is she prepaid to raise this child alone? That answer is important and it's his household. Go no contact and file a protection order against KC,and the Burnouts. I would probably shake Mr. Burnouts hand for the ### whooping he layed on the kid. Any further trouble from anyone, Jane's answer comes into play. If so, do everything you can to financially set her and child up. Help them find a distant and safe location. Then I'm going of the radar. And everything will work its self out.

    Jane was my plan B.

Ever tried to have a Casey Anthony conversation with someone and they mention facebook? Bet Dilbert doesn’t block Mrs Burnout. Bet he posts all kinds of pictures like parents do, of the first time their child gets on the bus to school, or a picture of the kid in school or even the school pics.

I am old school. The old school way is your house, your responsibility. What happened to the little girl before was not in his watch.

Casey Anthony killed her daughter to spite her parents. This idiot is of the same mindset.

This is exactly why I typed my plan. Guess I don't need to explain it any further. I know you understand my plan.

Jane is ex-marine. Good people. And tough. The kid is safe once she gets to her new home. The problem will be Dilbert. He will have a Disney moment, go full sap mode, and allow KC in and around “because it’s Christmas.”

Would Dilbert betray Jane? He already has. This might sound archaic but the family’s safety is primarily the man’s responsibility. But it was Jane who put that punk out, not Dilbert. By talking to Dilbert first, I attempted to give him the respect of a Man. Reckon those Disney movies were too influential.
