Probably part of the guilty party lol. We don’t have any cats, neighbors have 8 cats last we knew…

Had a neighbor's cat that used to come by just about every night and sit on the deck and howl and screech. Caught it in a live trap and soaked it with skunk scent then turned it loose. Much quieter at night after that.

 

Sounds like the herd needs to be thined a little anyway.

 

Looks like a tractor, not a swamp buggy.

 

Rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus are also good deterrents. If you plant lavender, don’t put it directly in the ground. Get a good size pot and dig a hole, put the pot in so about 2 to 3 inches is above ground. That will keep it from spreading and taking over. You can also grow rosemary is pots. The culinary type grow pretty slow. Probably would need to green house or something like that for the winter.
