Hello all,
I started my trucking career with Prime Inc. in the fall of 2021 and I amassed 6 months of over the road experience in the refrigerated division. After enduring a multi-year tragedy compounded by the stressors of the pandemic, I decided to take a year off and focus on taking a decade long wish trip into the backcountry as well as some extended stops with my family. I'm eager to get back into the hot seat. I tried to get back with Prime but they refused me based on lack of recent work experience. I'm wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations for quality trucking companies that might take a look at me? I have a spotless driving record, and my only limitation is automatic transmission only (though I'm open to learning manual -- I've been driving manual in my personal vehicles for decades). I'm turning 40 this fall and I hope to be on the road with you all before that time. Any recommendations or advice you have that might help this trucker get back behind the wheel would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you kindly,
Chris
