    “Not on my truck”
“And I’ll have a problem with it every time”
“Id rather slightly inconvenience you then have my family plan my funeral when your lazy load ends up on top of me”

I agree he might be able to save it, but best and safest solution is to grab his phone and call Ron Pratt.

cke, Gatordude, misterG and 4 others Thank this.

I've seen drawworks do this back in my oily days. All it took was the twist coming out of the deck as trailer came off the road berm on a tight corner, started the load moving before the chain tensioned back up and it popped them like string. Of course, back then almost everything was marginal on securement, but the sight of a big chain popping in two was enlightening, to say the least. Thankfully it stayed on the trailer, i just had to tug of back in place with my gin truck (I was in front of him helping him around the corner with my big winch.)
