I'm with @okiedokie - I hate people. Sat down in waiting room. I'm the only one in there. Probly 10 or 12 other seats in the room. 2 people come in. Where do you think they sit? As close to me as possible of course. Unbelievable.

I always thought I hated people.

Turns out I just hate "arzoles".

Unfortunately, they seem to vastly outnumber the normal people.

That's why I loved working as a supermarket meat clerk. Most people are very relaxed and personable when discussing meat.

Two years doing that job, and I can only remember maybe THREE (3) insufferable, entitled d-bags.

And after an entitled d-bag finally left the counter, the other customers would offer encouragement:

"Eff that d-bag. You do a great job."

"You didn't deserve that. Eff that d-bag"

"I admire your restraint. I woulda vaulted the counter and laid that d-bag OUT!!"

Fond memories......

 

I always felt the same way when I'd have my tanker parked well away from the truckstop building, in an empty row by myself, in a nearly-deserted parking lot, and have a reefer back in next to me.......
