All you automatic fans, I'll say this, I would be nice to not crawl my fat ### under the truck and slide around on soft comfy gravel to grease one fitting for the clutch... but I'll still keep my old Dinosaur over an auto though lol

Powder River squeeze chutes are usually stupid expensive, even older rusty ones. Got a heck of a deal on this one a while back, ordered some new parts from the factory, gave her a fresh paint job and new factory stickers. Works like a brand new $10,000 chute now. Built a roof over it, so no rusting out, and gives me a little shade when working cows in the heat. 20230617_110723.jpg 20230617_110743.jpg 20230617_110805.jpg

Left the house Monday and bounced over to Chester, Sc and grabbed a load going up to Maple Grove, Mn. Delivered that and bounced down to Hastings, Mn. And picked up a preloaded trailer going to La Vista, Ne. for a live unload. From there I eased on over to CB and grabbed a Four Oaks load, and carried that down to KCMO and dropped that at the drop yard. Hooked to a trailer at the ACT yard going to Bethel, Pa. for a drop (first time doing this load) everything went smooth.

I dropped that and then dead headed up to Saxonburg, Pa to put my truck in the shop at Pittsburgh Power for two days worth of shop time. I’m getting them to run the overhead, bake and clean the DPF filter, install fleet air filter, put on on a new dampener and balancer, install an new ceramic coated and ported exhaust manifold and a few other small miscellaneous things. As long as we don’t run into an unforeseen issues I should be rolling again Wednesday morning.

Storms came thru omaha early this morning and slept in.
Opened front door to let dog out and the humidity had dropped like a rock with a cool breeze, couldn't get the windows opened up and ac shut off fast enough!
