I'm gonna move this over here so we don't jam up that dude's page..

I asked for a split weigh, (bottom ticket) and this is what they give me.. lol

Seems a close weigh of axle 5, added to total gross..? 20230814_110910.jpg

Getting tired of horse'n around is when I just pulled on backward..
Odd how the same scale gave me 200lb different total gross within minutes..
    92220-14320=77900

Cured the problem momentarily, rasied the ride height, & used a vacant elevator scale with digital read out.. Spread axles are now within 160lb of one another, but I'm jacked up in the tail like a 70's street freak! Lol
Also push weight onto the drive. (36k lb) Bootleg to Catoosa, & home free for now..

Not sure what they did, that looks wrong.
Also that statement of spread axles not certified is new.

    Yes sir, by 2".
Trailer spec sheet says 49", almost positive, but it's been almost 4 yrs since I looked at it. I'll dig it out when I get home & double check.

Measured in a level shop Saturday & got 47" 5th wheel for this rig..

All bags were aired, but seems it was sitting on bump stops of some sort foward axle, while belly loaded. Bump ain't visible, so either the shock mounts? or maybe internal stops inside the bags?

Shock mounts seem solid, but the bushings are starting to go. Will replace em soon as I can..

Guess I ought to look for taller risers, or maybe a whole new/used deal if the price is right..

You can get new saddles or you can get some 2”x6” thick wall tube and place it between the frame and slider. Lots of guys do that pulling tanks to help roll the product towards the back. Either/or will work.

We had a whole row of bins with augers in em and everything. Just no electricity anywhere near them. We emptied them out for years on a v belt like that on an old d17 allis Chalmers.

I'm home with Kung Flu, after being on vacation last week.

Heading home Friday morning I got a call that a cousin had a heart attack driving home from a 12 hour shift on his part time EMT job, and didn't pull through. Great young man and father

Then Friday night a call from my 2nd grade teacher that her husband, a great friend and mentor of mine for over 30 years, had passed away.

I feel terrible that i won't be able to attend either service.
