Hello guys, I am buying a truck and want to check the accurate mileage on it, I called the M&k dealer but they said that truck has no repair report in their system so how do I know if the mileage are correct or not ?

It starts with the ECM dump.
BUT then you need to get a dyno and blowby tests, get the vin to the dealer and have them look at their repair data and get a mechanic involved to look at it.Short Fuse EOD Thanks this. -
A RigDig report will show history like a car fax.

What year/how many miles are supposed to be on it

What sucks about these odometer readings is they make really inexpensive scan type tools that can turn back the mileage. Now I'm not sure if it does the ecm too but there But the dash can be turned back. alot of crooks out there so it's really important to dig as deep as you can searching for past records on the vehicle

Original warranty info from Dealer per vin #. Get the build date, in service date, any warranty work with dates and mileage. ECMs can be swapped out. Average miles for OTR Truck is 100k per year. Anything less than 75k per year raises suspicion to me. Lot of 24 yr old Trucks advertised at 1.4 million miles. No way. Times 2 maybe. ECM should give you miles and total hours. And Idle hours.

Driving when rates are so low are killing the rest of us. But many seem to go out anyway and accept the bone that's thrown at them. SAD
