ESTES Express (5 Year Review)

Check out these Estes politics right. I run a schedule that cuts at 11am. I'm at the terminal 2 hours early EVERY DAY sometimes 2.5 hours. Usually, whenever we are planned, they let us go. The 10am guy is ALWAYS on the yard after 10am. I usually beat him to the meet point EVERY DAY!

His meet guy is complaining that I'm "stealing his freight" because I always beat them to the meet. Now, it seems they're holding me EXACTLY until 10am and then they'll give me the paperwork. How is it my problem the 10am guy is planned at 0830 but is STILL ON THE YARD PAST HIS CUT?

Man... Good ole Estes lol. That guy he meets has called Richmond and all kinds of stuff complaining that he's "late." It's a mess.

 

I have no clue. I literally don't talk to anyone so I'm not in any drama. These guys just take their sweet time to do a 6.5 hour job.

 

From what I heard Estes was already leasing terminals to them anyways. I had been hearing that since I first came here 6 years ago.

 

Run got cancelled today but the beautiful thing about being from a big terminal is you can always do something else. I'm running something that's about 15 miles shorter but I'm running. How is everything turning out for you guys?

 

I've been pulling a bunch of relays myself. It's either I'm waiting on one to come in or the trailers are barely loaded more than 8k. I do run a very heavy lane and I'm thankful to still be running tho. It's never been cut and the one time it was I asked for it since my meet guy had back problems.

@EstesWest I'll be joining you this weekend. I'm looking to do a turn on Sunday.

 

I tried to run Sunday but got denied. I didn't sign the volunteer list so I guess that screwed me.
