- Where you are located (city/state, and/or zip code)
- Do you also have any traffic violations? If so -- what are they, and when?
- What type(s) of freight interest you?

Right now the US economy is a bit down. Carriers can be a bit selective. Don't give up. The passage of time always works for you.
Go to this WEBSITE and take a good look. If you were convicted of any of the offenses marked as PERMANENT DISQUALIFYING CRIMINAL OFFENSES then you are never going to be able to get a TWIC card or haul hazmat. This takes some carriers off your list.
Then take a look at part B. The crimes listed there in most situations will not prevent you from getting hired, but take a look at the rape section. This crime these days gets you put on the sexual offender registry. Then you can see the dishonesty sections.
There are thousands of drivers currently driving that are convicted felons. There is always going to be a spot for you. The trick is to find it. Keep pounding the pavement.austinmike, Bthevirgo84 and lual Thank this.
