I’d consider grinding the v band down to a hose barb and that’d be quick and easy, but was told that’d void the warranty on the turbo. We’re not really sure on the cruise speed and rpm. Truck has 4:44 rears but that’s gonna change to something between 4:11’s and 3:73’s. I do want to keep the rpm’s up slightly higher than a big cam, because it is a small cam.

This elbow would maybe work if you modified the cross over pipe…but it’s not very round across the top of the engine. The elbow comes from many trucks with n14 and air to air coolersmile marker 27 Thanks this. -
Local salvage yard has those N14 90’s, 45’s and straight’s. I’m gonna cut one of those down to 1” plus the v-band and trim off about .75” on the crossover pipe. That’s the plan, at least.

Should work pretty well especially if you start with a straight on.
I would also suggest something to hold the crossover pipe to the turbo especially if you’re not going to put some type of barb on it -
Why not get a housing for the turbo from the salvage yard instead and then keep the new housing in a box in case you need to warranty it

Did you come up with a solution?

Yes sir, all plumbed up. Took some fabricating but it’s done.
