    You're not a professional truck driver anymore.

    You're a professional truck washer.

    Think of it as driving a big truck with square wheels.

    You should get some decent OT there too.

    If it were me, I'd save on my lungs, and drive the mixer.

    I know all the slump secrets if you do, and can make it easy to understand. I used to do a lot of the big money stuff, bridge beams, nuke plant, treatment plants with color, stuff that can't get f/u or it goes in the #### pile lol.

    Take the mixer job.

    Mike’s a stand up guy no matter what you might hear— driving is the easy part— learning how to get around onsite and work with the different crews is a steep curve and you’ll F things up that nobody ever thought could be F’d up but 1 season and you’ll have it— being able to run a loader is a huge plus— downside is wintertime in the Ho is not ideal for concrete work— but you might mention that you could probably get around in a transfer truck (hauls cement)

    As someone who was on the receiving end, I wouldn't do it.
    Here's the dealeio.......they'll work you till you drop in the summer, and leave you at home in the winter.
    You gotta think about where you live. Ever seen a concrete truck in January?
    There's a reason for that.
