So several months back when my Grandpa passed, I got an old Miller Welder that he had in his shop. I had been storing it in the shop at work. So with having left that company I finally loaded it up and brought it home. My neighbor was kind enough to bring his fork lift over and help me get it put inside my little shed today.

That shed is starting to get a little cramped... Not sure what I'm going to do when the day comes that I can no longer fit anything else in it... LOL.

Edit: That makes 2 old welders I own... The first is a 1970s model Miller Generator Welder.

Sounds like a skid frame Lincoln with a 6 cylinder Continental. Those were heavy.

For a mere 75K and she will get it too. But where is the city of Marion going to get the $ to pay the newspapers coming suit.
A lot of good cheer and slinging that FA weight around during the search will be painful memories when they are looking for work.

This one that I got from grandpa runs off 240V... But it aint no joke. I can slide it around on a clean smooth floor... But aint no way I'm moving it across turf and rocks... LOL. Its for sure older that me. My Dad bought it when my family was leasing a large cattle operation in MT... I was still in diapers at the time. It was the main shop welder there until the ranch sold and we left. Grandpa had it completely gone through by a Miller technician just before we left the ranch in 1992. Since them it's maybe beem used a dozen times for a total run time, since that service, of less that 3 hours. And its old enough that its got lots of big copper inside... So it will probably out last me.

No idea, but I'm guessing most towns/cities have an umbrella insurance policy for such incidents. From what little I know, the newspaper didn't go easy on City Hall and local politics and that might have clouded the judgement of people involved in securing a warrant. But you're right, it's likely to be a very expensive lesson.

That is probably why he went "judge shopping "in the next county. Either his own judge did not agree with the affidavit or felt for the paper.
Strangest thing.. So far all the paper has done is straight up. Must have chapped someones, but they made the sore...
If you read the affidavit, any one with a computer could be charged with attempting ID theft by computer. I fish off my own bank with a long pole myself sometimes....

In our case, we already had a Tractor Supply and not big enough to support two, so Bomgaars got it.
