I didn't mean to call out the size of someones rear end, but trucks just don't require that kind of attention anymore. Heck, a R model Mack I drove,, I literally HAD to get out and check to make sure something wasn't falling off. Sometimes, something WAS falling off, it rode so rough. It's like a modern car, on a 3,000 mile trip, I think I opened the hood once and only then to add washer fluid. I truly believe, someday soon, there will be no hood release and a disclaimer saying" You have no business under the hood, see dealer", and trucks aren't far behind. I'd check the shop, like I say, if it's a reputable shop, they know it's nothing you possibly could have done. Good luck, pal.
Transmission fell out of engine while driving .

The biggest thing you have working against you is the amount of time elapsed. The shop has no idea if someone else removed the transmission since they last touched it. If it was a matter of a week or 2 then you'd have a leg to stand on.
W923, Albertaflatbed, Bean Jr. and 2 others Thank this. -
I’ve seen them slip down or tilt when bolts back out of the bellhousing or they just break. I’ve never seen one plum fall out though, that’s wild.

I wish I had better news for you, but if you didn't inspect the work they said they did, and you didn't ever ask them if they torqued and you could confirm, then you're out of luck.
Keepforgettingmypassword and Albertaflatbed Thank this. -
I fell out of my truck once. I have a few screws loose.
TexasRiverRat, W923, Siinman and 3 others Thank this. -
My fan hub fell off the block. Two of four bolts showed metal fatigue. Happened at a intersection as I was making a left turn.
