Been home a week now. Really enjoyed my time here. Done this about every day in some fashion, dusted some clay pigeons, and enjoyed some of these deeper spots in this river that still have a thermocline.

99* here now. Hopefully by Saturday mornin I'll be tossin hoppers to some cutthroat in Montana or Idaho with cooler temps. 20230906_150204.jpg 20230906_145049.jpg 20230905_155448.jpg

Yep, couldn't remember the name of the cleaner, Simple Green, and there was another one, that is purple in color, too. I'm sure I'll find it sometime, just can't recall it right now. Brain fart. :)

That's the one I could't think of, Purple Power...and glad you mentioned that, so that's out. :)

Simple green works on bugs. Want to get rid of an ant colony. Find the entry point, pour some straight into the hole. Stuff is nontoxic and biodegradable, so it won’t poison the ground.
You will notice right off that it’s working. Will take a few applications (about a week apart) to get the best results.

Guess I’ll deliver a Brigadier, then work my way to Florida to grab a Caterpillar 725 lizard truck….

@Isafarmboy Are you running to the potato house soon? If your coming in on yellowhead, watch out between 149th/156th. They have metal plates across the roads in various spots, and one em will test your air seat.

Wasn't planning on slamming doors...only did like 5 loads last season. You sure you worried about me staying in the seat and not the spuds stayin in the tote??
It's probably right in a curve too.
