Very nice. You will get better gas mileage on it when you have to make the long drives to North Ga and back and all of your stuff will be out of the weather.

If any potential Truck Driver from Central FL is reading this, know the companies are being picky on who they hire and the chances of getting hired increase when you move to either near interstate 10 or above. I’ve told Jacksonville is a good place to get hired out of.

My first and best job ever was in Detroit area. I usually stayed out for a few months at a time (did 5 months once and will never do it again)

Worked for a great guy that was highly challenged in the English language, lol. Never ever had any issues with pay and he was always offering me extra when it was time for me to go home.

My wallet was always fat along with my bank account, never had to asked for an advance or take one off the fuel card..

When it was time to go home I would take a limousine to the airport and fly first class to Melbourne. For some reason the flights were always cheap..probably because Detroit wasn’t exactly a vacation destination. Anyway, 2 hours and two beers later I’d be back in Melbourne.

If you’ve ever flown out or into MLB you know how simple it is. Probably the smallest easiest international airport in the country!

I guess what I’m trying to say is think outside the box because you never know what you’re missing. Personally I love to fly so it was a no brainer.

Flying back to Pasco, WA tomorrow..Three flights because I’m stubborn and don’t want to fly out of Orlando

I got so tired of parking, getting an Uber, then ubering back, and then going to grab the next load in a rush that I just started driving my car 400 miles back to the nearest terminal. Loads to there are more frequent than home, don't have to worry about hours, just hit that yard and swap seats. Plus, if they need help, guess what the truck is in another state.

Are there any small companies out there that would let me fly up to their terminal? I’m willing to do that.

Define what you mean by "small"....

And I don't know of any small(er) carriers that have a runway at their terminal. :dontknow:

So I have another prospect. I’m not too sure if they monitor this site. They are out of Wisconsin and I found them on social media of all places.
