Well, we are keeping stupid alive here in Tupelo.
Last week had 2 men with wigs and masks rob a convenience store. While one grabbed cash the other, the other stripped off a display of lottery tickets.
Was capture d 2 or 3 days later. Sheriff's comment was:" We appreciate the State Lottery Commission's help in this case." Went to get his winnings?

Now we have this brain drive up here and kidnap his ex girlfriend. Broke in, bound her and applied a little torture. All while wearing an ankle monitor from previous misdeeds... She escaped and they had no trouble locating him to gather in.

Might want to find another career feild. Unless getting incarcerated is part of the promotion process.

I firmly believe we could build more prisons ; hire qualified guards, and have these jerks serve the full sentence day for day. No good behavior and bad behavior be added at a 100% plus.
Oh, but we can't afford that, it would cost so much.
Any idea what the total cost now is in catching them again, holding,, transporting, clogging the courts with reruns of the same jerks same or worse crime .
And the cost to the poor citizen who is robbed, attacked or his property destroyed.

You know, the Army did not provide me with A/C and TV. Day room had a pool tables. and a grass field for other play off duty. And I was a good volunteer citizen. You ever talked to someone who has had the poor luck of being held in a foreign jail. He sure as hell will never be in the position or in that country again. Strange; many drivers work daily in weather - temps, that government regulations forbid for a prisoner. Find him, hold court and if convicted, put him away in the system as if done. He can appeal from there and get a taste of his future. Provide basic life sustaining medical care as the Army did me. Coupla APC's and back to duty. In case of decapitation, bring the head.

 

My work week has officially cone to an end... I could have volunteered for some OT tomorrow, but id have been on another line that I know NOTHING about... And im not up to that amount of learning just yet.
