Got out surprisingly quick. 2.5 hours after appointment isn't too bad. RE Garrison has some of the friendlier brokers I've talked to. Pleasant experience all around

When I worked at climate we dropped and hooked at lineage over near Kansas City. He would go over to 6:35 west of Kansas City off of 70 there drop down and exit jump off like you was going to the pilot and the QuikTrip go down there a little ways and make a turn to get to the place. If you were going south on 635 though you would make a right and go away from the pilot to go down to it.

Going to put the Mac flaps underneath my fenders behind my steers. And the other two little pictures there is of my polished battery box that I took the time to do today.

Unloaded nasty Dusty b e e t pellets. Got them ground up. And reloaded. And now they're destined for Nestle purina for dog food. Talk about a Dusty mess I tell you.

Just a couple good Ole fashioned, bad wheel seals. The best part is it's a trailer with the nicer one piece hubs with the giant site glass. One isn't too bad. One is bone dry and is leaking bad enough it's actually wet and not just damp.

I've had the climate shop look at wheel seals that weren't no wetter than that and they always just let them ride. They got to be really wet the entire inner Hub wet for them to consider it is leaking bad enough to fix it. I don't got to worry about that with the trailer I have. My Hubs are grease packed cuz I got disc brakes. Don't have to worry about wheel seals leaking. Of course that's also the nice thing about keeping the same trailer all the time I get very familiar with it and it stays fixed up a lot better. I got new brakes new tires so it's good for a while.

You're batter box looks good with that polish brother. I swear to you, you've got the most stylish in the country lol. You've been rolling big time this week, are ya making it back home? I'm sitting at home now. I couldn't refill meds when I went to Murfreesboro last week, the system was acting up. I ended up just responding to the automated text to get them filled in Memphis. The sent me to Dallas this Monday, and gave me til Wed to get there. I asked Travis if I could run through the house to grab meds and keep rolling since I had time. He actually fought me on that a little bit. He asked if I could make it through the week, which I could. I agreed to let him route through here later in the week. I reload in Fort Worth, to go New Century picked Wed morning to deliver that night. Then reloaded a NC load to drop at Craftsmen yesterday. Then he has me pick up Coke to deliver to Houston Sunday night, and tells me in the message to go through Memphis with this load(sighs). Kills my week just like that. He could have had me do this earlier in the week and I could've kept moving. It was a power move for no reason in my mind. He probably had his superiors in his ear that day. I would've rather done it with the Dallas load because it's much easier to get to Dallas from Memphis than it is to get to Houston from Memphis. It's all good though. I get a little bit of impromptu home time lol

Yeah, I'm with Professor on that one. It doesn't look too bad, I've seen some where it was just splattered to hell by the time I got back to STL. I had them bring the trailer to Union in thay case. Being married to the same trailer has tremendous advantages. I made 5 runs with the dry van I just dropped. I think the longest I've kept a trailer at Climate was 2 weeks.

Disc brakes are nice -- way less minor issues with them and a lot less 'discretion' needed lol. I liked the way they drove better too. Somehow stopped better AND smoother. Less things for DOT to nitpick and less maintenance required. I'm surprised it's not a universal standard on modern equipment. Less chance of freezing up as well. I really don't know why so many companies shy away from it. I understand not spending the money to convert older equipment, but surprised it's not the chosen spec on new equipment.

Fair enough. My thinking with it all is a leak from a seal will never get better. At best, it'll need regularly topped off and at worst, it'll fail completely and then results can be mild or extreme from there. But, it's the shop's decision and it's worked for em for however long apparently, so more power to em. I don't know enough about finances or mechanics to know if that's actually the best plan of attack, but that's why I'm just a driver lol. 20230914_214923.jpg

Yikes....that's a different view there. Your first pic ain't show that much oil. That definitely needs attention. You can make it back though. When you get rid of that trailer, send a message so they can fix it in Union.
