Take my thoughts and training for what it is worth, I was taught that the 2 ways to use levelers is :
1; flexible loads such as plastic pipe should be supported every 12 to 14 feet or better.
2; ridged loads such as steel pipe and metal shapes should be solidly supported near the ends and at least one leveler in the middle.
In any case all levelers need to be chained down with the pull to the rear, almost all leveler problems come from hard braking incidents. Chains should be at least 1/4" and preferably 5/16 leveler tydown.jpg

Fontaine trailer are usually rated on the low side for some reason.? Yes, it has an 80k lb frame rating, but specific components on some of them greatly reduce the GVWR of the trailer. Like this one for example has an 80k frame, yet only 67,778lb GVWR..

Fontaine is also the only manufacturer I've seen that has a speed rating as well. Maybe it's for the tires? not the wagon, but I've never seen 60mph rated rubber. Speed rated J, 62mph tires yes..

You pay FL sales tax % and get the $125 lifetime token tag?

Or go with a OK or ME deal?
Went with a ME 10yr tag this time as I figured I'd be under a different wagon by then..

    CAXPT and JonJon78 Thank this.
