Yea the road guys only have closed tandems, and as a matter of fact I don’t think very many road trucks are even tagged for 85,500. We actually do very little in Missouri, but yep when we are over there we load commercial zone weights. We try to just keep in Kansas tho, with our short trailers even with a pretty decent wheelbase and the 5th wheel all the way back we are juussst shy of that magical 51’ for the bridge law.

I believe he came in from All Metal in Wichita, quite the ride. One of your new recruits, said this was his first trip, I was kind enough to show him the ropes at Huron Valley, he left a few spots between him and the first truck, I kindly suggested he move to spot 2 so he didn’t end up fourth in line come the morning, that was my good deed for the day
