Got the link on this? I have never heard of that before but could very well be true. I know the EV credit from the government is not 100 percent on some of the models. I think 7500 is full amount and 3500 on the other ones that don't meet the standards. This was done on purpose as well since (Government) got into it with Elon.

    Rideandrepair and Magoo1968 Thank this.

On top of all of this we need to consider how much the auto makers are having to invest in the Electric Cars. Those EPA standards are not going away and they have to invest or disappear.

With your thought process we would not have cheaper computers now like we do because of technology. Tesla is a technology based company that builds cars. The better the technology gets the cheaper it becomes. Back in the 90's you could spend $3K on a home computer and now can get one way better for well under 1K. This is a simple example with Tech that shows your thought process is flawed!

I see the strike has been expanded. I’m surprised. Lot of garage sales in the neighborhood this weekend.

It's actually a pretty savvy move, politically. It's not nearly as financially damaging to the automaker which reduces the risk of the government stepping in like they did last year with the rail unions. Yet, it's really going to ramp up the pressure from the dealer networks on the automakers.

Its below the belt jab, affecting others...
Much like morons blocking the Highway in protest Police brutality instead of gathering at Police station

Still plenty of parts in the aftermarket for us guys driving older vehicles. It's only really going to affect the cars under warranty.
