By the time you finish CDL school -- you may later find that some/most/all of these suggested carriers either:
- want 3-6 months previous CDL experience
- simply aren't hiring in your area at that time
- both of the above
Nonetheless -- nothing ventured, nothing gained. Apply to any/some/all of them, anyway -- & see what happens; you have absolutely nothing to lose -- and everything to gain by doing so.
ALSO: DON'T JUST CALL RECRUITING, AND ASK "ARE YOU HIRING?"
INSTEAD: First fill out a COMPLETE application on-line, submit it -- & then call the company/recruiting after about a week later...or maybe a little longer. Just tell them you are calling to check on the status of your application.
In addition: it's typical for one or more carriers to visit your class during the course of the course.
You may later find that one (or more?) of those visiting carriers is what you have to choose from -- to start out with as a newbie.
FAIR WARNING: DO NOT accept any job or account that has you delivering to/from any of the so-called "dollar" stores: Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc. THOSE JOBS WILL CHEW YOU UP, AND SPIT YOU BACK OUT -- as a beginning driver. Leave those opportunities to drivers with real experience.

Ready to start your boat hauling career but don't have a CDL? We can assist by helping you enroll to a CDL program. Our staff is familiar with all the requirements for each state we are located in. We also have relationships with many CDL schools and are happy to assist.
I'd apply here even if you don't think you have a chance.
I got a job like this with about 3 mos driving experience and ran 48 states and Canada.

XPO is usually hiring. You'll get good experience, a steady paycheck. Cons are bottom of the seniority ladder means bad schedule, or long linehaul hours. Decent company overall.
