Yep. I need to be flogged! Not loyal to the green like I used to be, but when the cash flow starts to tick downward more than I you like, you gotta do what you gotta do and at least the terminal isn’t far from home. I kind of think it’s funny because the powers that be here told the company I was with that I wasn’t eligible for re-hire. Guess any monkey will do here, huh? The old company is so long gone that it ain’t even funny.

Hill Phoenix really irks me when I get told to show up at six but store don’t open until eight….I showed up at 0400 because it is a shopping plaza to beat all the cars in….they worry too much about these dollar stores. Then again Im sure there are drivers here that need to be told to show two hrs early so they are on time…..feel like Im in the military again at times getting told to show up uber early and wait.

I really feel like Im dealing with special ed ppl when it comes to operations here…..sorry if that offends anybody but I don’t know how else to describe it. Got a sent a pepsi load to Richmond delivering in the afternoon tomorrow after unloaded this morning. Told my DM I can drop it on the yard there and grab something coming back to Wytheville today since I got hometime starting tomorrow, took 5 vacation days since they epically screwed up planning this week with only 684 miles in 3 days….reality is should have gotten at least 1400 if planners knew what they were doing….14 is counting down it has taken all day to get back to me….I said forget it cuz I can’t get to Richmond and back now since they screwed around all day trying to reschedule for a live unload today instead of letting me drop it and turn around and go back to Wytheville, 14 counted down too much. I told them I don’t have time for live unload at pepsi, only drop and hook…..why is it the totally incompetent always seem to end up in charge of stuff…..

God Bless you all in this thread. I can't even begin to imagine how you all deal with the things posted. My big question is, why stay? Are most of you all east coast / FL residents?
jarhead0311, 4mer trucker and motocross25 Thank this. -

Maybe that's common in the trucking industry. I dunno. Never driven for anybody but Abilene. Maybe other trucking companies would've done the exact same thing. But that's certainly not the sense I've gotten from talking to my fellow truckers.jarhead0311, dwells40, IH9300SBA and 3 others Thank this. -
Sitting on the golf cart at the shop waiting on my filter change to get done, then it’s off to WM to pick up more freight, SLC Utah, Seattle and Lakewood Washington, then the last 4 in and around Los Angeles. 4416 paid miles and 8 drops. I should be done next Friday. I’ll need another vacation after this.

VP walking the yard, trying to get a bunch of short Sam's Md loads covered for the weekend. What they don't understand is its not worth the drivers time to have to deal with that headache.
I'll probally end up running one when my truck gets finished lol.Lonesome Thanks this.
