They do orientation out of every terminal from my understanding. Maybe not Cali anymore since they moved the Visalia terminal. Your truck is probably in Winter Haven, or if your going into a pump truck they may be doing your training there.

I opted for a pump truck. I figured why not. I'm coming from flatbed so it's still 10x less work than I was doing previously. And that's if I even need to use the pump, since everyone on this thread says you rarely use them anyway.

I live near Tampa and had orientation in WH. They rented me a car to pick up my truck in Cordele.

My class was only 4 people total last month.

Perhaps it’s trucks or they may be more selective at this time.

I just got parked in Montana for the night. I loaded in Alexandria, MN this morning and am in route to Modesto, CA.

Yes. It’s fairly regular. I had brought a load of juice from the Port of Wilmington in Delaware to Hopkins, MN. Afterward, I washed out in Albert Lea, then went to Alexandria.

It’s a scenic trip because you can get off in Bozeman, MT and cut the corner to Idaho Falls - which takes you along the western edge of Yellowstone National Park.

Just a heads up, Hopkins is a drop/hook with no overnight parking. Alexandria is a live load, but they will let you unhook and pull outside if you want to leave it running.
