So Dave, after all my false starts to come over to Landstar, I'm finally doing it. My timing may be horrible, due to the economy right now, but I'm going forward anyways. I've started this process twice before and ended up being stopped for various reasons. Today is my final day at Schneider. I'm heading off to turn in my fuel card, etc, this morning. Got my hazmat endorsement yesterday and sent in my plate request form to Landstar Wednesday. Now it's just a waiting game I suppose. So, now that I'm heading over there and I live in the Phoenix area just like you, I may be interjecting some questions into this thread if you don't mind. I have a feeling that Schneider did a lot of work behind the scenes on the load board which is both a blessing and a curse. It seems Landstar is the closest thing you can be to being under your own authority without being under your own authority. I've never dealt with brokers or anything so its going to be a learning experience for sure. First question is simply a comparison question. I just did a search on Landstarone for freight within a hundred miles of Phoenix and found six loads, 4 to Texas, one to Georgia, and one to Salt Lake City. Is that what you see or am I not getting the full picture because I'm not a bco yet? Thanks.

58 degrees at the bachelor pad this morning still damp with a dew point of 57 # not Arizona. Surgery was a success yesterday so I’m hoping bachelor life ends tomorrow. Looking out my back door
