They should’ve sent a service truck out to where he was parked at to have the windshield changed… The first DOT officer that sees that is going to shut that truck down..

 

Exactly when I made it back to my home terminal I would clean out my truck.

 

Exactly .. if they’re that cheap on fixing a windshield just imagine what other safety items they are even more cheap on fixing.. I would never put my CDL in jeopardy just because of company wants to be idiots

Well then I wouldn't refer him I would take it to a TA or Freightliner if my windshield was busted since they are Freightliner approved not drive several hundred miles to a terminal.
