Back in 2010, when I was an owner operator for them every single week I had to call payroll and ask where my $800-$1000 was.. this went on for several weeks, and after the final time, the payroll guy turned around and had the audacity to tell me that he’s sick and tired of hearing from me every week… I said if you people would stop stealing my money you wouldn’t hear from me now would you

That is exactly why I keep a note book full of all my trips and stuff. Been here five years and have a collection of notebooks stored away with all five years of information. Id wager with the freight the way it is stealing is going to get worse. Like I mentioned, never had issues with layover and detention and what not until knight guy got put in.

There was a lady who signed up on this site a while back who worked in corporate headquarters in Phoenix and she had posted that she uses a magnetic card to swipe time clock machine, and her paychecks were always not correct either… I the problems going back 20 years and I know of Stealing money from people… Why it hasn’t been addressed is beyond me

    I see nothing has changed.

They asked for all kinds of stuff when I tried to put my wife on our insurance after she left her job.

Changing jobs is one of a very few reasons to add someone to a health insurance policy.

Her company laughed, literally laughed, when we told them what all they wanted. None of it was required to transfer someone to a health policy. (Other than proof of prior coverage) But we provided what they wanted.

It was a total coincidence that a couple weeks later I made one phone call. Best call I ever made.

Maybe I should have sent a certain VP a Thank You Card.

Not sure it was worth losing a Driver over but it’s not my company to run. And there seems to be plenty of new drivers signing up. :)

Quite sure that VP is long gone and we’re on our 4th one since.

    Got her new address?
    Maybe flowers? :)

But in all seriousness to those dealing with issues there, stay on top of it as they won’t fix themselves. And so sorry to hear y’all dealing with these issues.

Sad to see what has happened to a once great family owned company.

New Balance ppl were really nice ppl to interact with. Had half the left rear pallet fall over against the left door being the pallet was stacked asymmetricaly with bigger heavy boxes on top of smaller light boxes and about half dozen of them were crushed. Got paid 50 bucks for ten minutes of playing tetris with the boxes to restack properly. NB ppl couldn’t restack in the lot for safety reasons. They accepted it all, woman I talked to understood though with bouncing down the road stuff not stacked right will fall over. PM service tomorrow and check engine light needs looked at too.

PM service done and check engine light fixed, I hope anyway, and 10 new tires put on. Tried to get a Reno but got put on an Ohio Volvo instead. Was trying to that rare 4K plus week, lol!
