Nice little run to Bowling Green, KY. If I'd leave the spare tire and extra tarps at home I could have filled the fuel tanks full. 20231018_074056.jpg 20231018_074107.jpg

That looks like a nightmare actually. Curious how did they load it and how do they unload?
    Cranes? Forklift or three.

FerrissWheel, CAXPT and cke Thank this.

Believe it or not I didn’t even have to strap it (my kind of load) Another driver started out with it yesterday but got turned around cuz the jobsite wasn’t ready for it, so I just hit the pin. Kind of a pain to unstrap though, I just pulled the straps off the winches and pulled them off from the opposite side so the hooks didn’t get caught. There’s a fixture underneath it all. They load them with an overhead crane. At the jobsite they just hooked on to one end of about 6 of them maybe (you can see the dunnage in between) then they would stand them right up (with a crane) and lay them down on another fixture.
Tunnel job in RI for rain water I guess. These are for the walls of a huge hole in the ground. The hole is probably 75’ across and 150’ feet deep!
    I guess I should’ve taken pictures…

Nothing cool, but I like the steel loads, a pic of the racks going back to Gwinner and the steel going to Litchfield, these are my kinda nights, no highway and usually no people but harvest is going on right now and sugar beets make a huge mess out of everything IMG_20231017_204813084.jpg IMG_20231017_163057191_HDR.jpg
