Thousands sign online petition asking FCC to shut down Mud Duck

You ever thought for a second that these people aren't reporting him to the BBB because they are paying him to ILLEGALLY MODIFY THEIR RADIOS? I bet not many drug dealers or DPF bypass companies have problems with the BBB, either.

If I'm paying someone to do something illegal, I can't exactly REPORT that person to the government if they fail to fulfill their contractual obligations to me of breaking the law.

it gets me that a lot of … well morons run to the better business bureau as if they were a government agency.

 

The guy is an obnoxious motor mouth but since they dont enforce the cb regs, singling him out isnt right.

 

I have mentioned things like that myself.....If your gonna boot one there is alot more that need the boot to....
I dont hear him way up here in eastern canada very often so it doesnt bother me but many are jelious or butt hurt or a combo of the two..

 

Him modifying these CB radios. That's all highly illegal.

Nobody ever said the BBB was the government. However the OP is talking about reporting him and I mentioned reporting him to the FCC, which IS the government.

 

That’s where I run as well. Between loading facilities and different pads I run 8-10 different channels every night.

Well that's the catch, he isn't modifying CB radios. Of course he is modifying 10/12 meter radios to be used on the 11 meter band, and that is illegal. Well it use to be.

 

I ask because it is easy to determine what he does, it isn't all illegal, which floors me.

 

The illegal part is transmitting with the modified radio on the 11 meter (CB) band. The FCC could care less about that.
Yea the Mud Duck is an annoying tool, but if it isn't him, someone else would take his place on 19. Most of the Skip Goobers that used to clog up 19 must've run away because they can't compete with that Ghostrider "fire in the wire" in the desert! It's a shame he can't teach some of those World Wide(as in a dozen channel wide signal)stations on the Super Bowl how to set up a clean station.
Oh well adjust the squelch, turn down the RF gain, turn off the radio till Mark truly goes "back to the bench"!
