I've noticed the truck mechanic schools always advertise how they teach students how to repair semi-trucks. I never see them write that they teach students how to repair the trailers.
At the diesel truck mechanic school that you attended, did the instructors teach you about how trailer works and how to repair trailers, or did they only teach you how to repair the tractors?

Be forewarned.... on the first day of truck mechanic school they have a taste test to see if you know the difference between oil and grease, and if you fail the test, they put you in the special ed class where you will be stuck working on straight trucks and sprinter vans.
You should do well in the art class though!
