I'm missing the joke too. It is a legitimate question.

Whenever I post a thread, I always get a bunch of people ragging me for not knowing these things already. I have had to put about ten people on ignore.

I know that diesel truck mechanic schools teach the students how to repair the semi-trucks. All I did was ask if these same schools teach students how to repair trailers as well.

ok fair enough. The basics of a trailer are pretty much the same as a trucks. brakes, tires, wheel bearings and such. so if they taught you how to fix brakes on a truck you'd know how to also do a trailer.
Now if you are asking about fixing the refer unit or structural repair that might be another subject

I think that there are some differences. For instance, there is no equipment to slide the trailer tandems on a trailer. So that would be a different skillset. There are probably other differences too.

What do you mean by running gear? Do you mean the landing gear?

What about the equipment that is used to slide the trailer tandems? Do you learn about the equipment to slide the trailer tandems at diesel truck mechanic school?

Because whenever someone answers your questions, you respond by asking more stupid questions, to the point where no one takes you seriously anymore.

They teach that in CDL school. Didn’t you pay attention?

    Running gear = Tandems/Axles/Brakes/Hubs/Ect

What is there to learn about the slider? The only "equipment" is one air valve and an air actuator if it's not completely mechanical.
