I'm missing the joke too. It is a legitimate question.
Whenever I post a thread, I always get a bunch of people ragging me for not knowing these things already. I have had to put about ten people on ignore.
I know that diesel truck mechanic schools teach the students how to repair the semi-trucks. All I did was ask if these same schools teach students how to repair trailers as well.

ok fair enough. The basics of a trailer are pretty much the same as a trucks. brakes, tires, wheel bearings and such. so if they taught you how to fix brakes on a truck you'd know how to also do a trailer.
Now if you are asking about fixing the refer unit or structural repair that might be another subjecthomeskillet and expedite_it Thank this. -

What about the equipment that is used to slide the trailer tandems? Do you learn about the equipment to slide the trailer tandems at diesel truck mechanic school? -
Rubber duck kw, Crude Truckin' and Sons Hero Thank this. -
Crude Truckin' and Last Call Thank this.

Running gear = Tandems/Axles/Brakes/Hubs/Ect
What is there to learn about the slider? The only "equipment" is one air valve and an air actuator if it's not completely mechanical. -
Crude Truckin' Thanks this.

Crude Truckin', Sons Hero, Opus and 1 other person Thank this.
