Got a volvo d13, engine coolant in cylinder locked. Coolant in oil, pulled pan and could see coolant dripping out of the 2 holes at the bottom of the piston below the wrist pin.
My question is since I have a decent amount of coolant dripping through the 2 holes #6 cylinder only is it possible I also have damaged rings? Or will they leak out those holes are the rings seal tightly under compression of the fuel explosion?
Bad rings along with head gasket and or head?

It'll have to come apart to properly diagnose. Might as well put a fresh cylinder kit in after going to that level of disassembly.

Would hate to do just 1 cylinder, also would hate to spend all the money to do a full inframe, I do understand that would be the best option. I just am wondering if anyone has any insight as to if water can leak past the rings and run out the bottom of the piston, when fuel is fired the rings are pressed against the walls but what about with water sitting on top
