Day break deliveries way down south this morning. From what the old timer told me last time I was here, I suspect he owns the dairy, this is the southern most dairy in the United States. I haven’t done research to confirm or deny, but it is way the heck down at the bottom of Lake Okeechobee, Moore Haven Florida.
Professor No-Name, Al. Roper and Rugerfan Thank this. -
@Professor No-Name any tips and tricks that you’ve learned with the anthem when it comes to keeping the windows and mirrors clean? I know it seems like a standard question, but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, I will clean my mirrors with a good glass cleaner, they look flawless and without fail, almost immediately they’re fogging up, streaking like crazy, and the fact that there is no deflection from the wipers when cleaning your windshield, all that mess ends up on the windows and ultimately the mirrors. Going in to my 5th year with this truck and I can’t figure it out, and dont get me started on the rattle traps they’ve all become, hood mirrors included, after 448K miles

I use clindo or the generic an wash the inside of the front an side windows. Use it on the outside of the doors an the mirrors. My mirrors however seemed to be scratched from paper towels. Mine have started fogging. Has something to do with temp an humidity changes. They make an anti fog treatment. Don't know name of it. My friend always said to clean the windows in an out an then wax them. It will help repel the rain, fog, an snow. He says do it twice a month on the outside of windows an do the mirrors too.NightWind Thanks this.

I just saw a video of of a guy using toothpaste on them and the water repels off. Thought I might give it a shot.

We use shaving cream in the bathroom on mirrors to keep the steam from fogging them up.IH9300SBA Thanks this.

So anyone going through the ohio 70 area heads up. Keep a lookout for thieves. I Just had some ####wit steal a bunch of stuff off my truck. They cut my $380 load level indicator off and took it. They cut the padlock off and stole my spare (and new) michlin all position tire and left me with a junk 11R22.5. Also damaged my door trying to get into the truck (yay for parinoia on upgradeing the door locks)
Dont know how well it shows up in the pic but the door is actully a little warped.
motocross25 and IH9300SBA Thank this. -
Man that sucks. There’s been a guy going all up and down the south eastern seaboard ice picking tires and air bags. Several people have had all 18 tires hit at once. It’s a crazy world.
-
What do you say? People suck, especially ripping someone off like you @Arctic_fox who works as hard as you do. Sorry that crap happened to you.
NightWind Thanks this. -
Ahh dont worry about it. In the grand scheme of things it was only a couple grand. More wanted to get the word out to be cautious in that area. Im in a position this is a nussance more then anything. Though they also broke into my side box anf got my spare airbags and most of my filters and howes lol. Welp rip those 10 bottles. That one im annoyed with
But i take solice in the fact eventually karma will catch up and soneone with a gun or baseball bat are going to be there to introduce his skull to pain or that some dude named bubbah is going to ensure he never needs to worry about constipation again when he gets caught.
Or so i tell myself lol!motocross25, RockinChair, IH9300SBA and 1 other person Thank this.
