For $25K minus the capital gains I’d keep it to………

 

Where did I mention global warming? The emissions controls are for cancer, acid rain, asthma and other illnesses in people not the climate.

 

I'm not sure capital gains would apply here. You'd need to sell for a profit.

 

I hate the factory seat and wipers that are too long for windy snowy days easy fix though (install ones 2 inches shorter) .mirrors dirty up fast if you use washer fluid otherwise it’s a great practical truck . That enough hate lol

 

You're right. I incorrectly assumed that. Either way all these paths lead to the same place. It's all anti-oil and the climate is the first thing that anti-oil people will champion behind. Will you stop the petroleum based products that we eat and drape our entire bodies in every day as well? Nylon, polyester, polyethylene, EVA, rayon, plastics etc etc are all known to cause cancer and all made from petroleum. All of your concerns as well as the environmentalist's worries all stem from our usage of fossil fuels aka petroleum. Frame it however you like but that's the end goal. To remove oil from our lives.
