Submit some more apps. Take the best offer. Several good choices on your thread. Check out UPS.

Kam-Way Transportation Inc - Google Search

Kamway has acquired Produce Supply Express off of Grove just past Jim Thorpe. I drove for Kamway and they were reasonable with hometime.

Indian River Transport - Google Search

Consider also Indian River Transport. I drove for them, too. They, also, were good about hometime.

Indian River Transport picks up orange juice in Tipton, California and delivers it to Johanna Beverage near the new Kamway acquisition.

Johanna Beverage sometimes uses Kamway to ship shelf ready orange juice products. Indian River drops loaded tanks, picks up empties to be washed in Prosser or Grandview, then loads apple or grape juice out of Grandview.

Kamway picks up commercial window glass from a shipper I think is off of Freya street. They deliver frequently to the local Petsmart's in Spokane picked up from the Petsmart dc outside of Sparks, Nevada off of USA parkway.

Website doesn't have how much experience is required for Kam-Way.

Two years experience and a clean record. I have a POV speeding ticket from May 2018 that did not prevent me from hiring on.

Depending on your age, a full career at UPS pays dividends, literally.

System is a decent outfit from what I hear from drivers in the area, especially if you don't mind overnighting away from the house & they run the western 10. They have a quad fleet that keeps you in PNW & out of Cali, exp required with them to move to it.

@Chinatown is Wilson Logistics quad fleet still around? They had that PNW quad fleet ongoing before the Ashley acquisition.

Ashley runs the quads after the buyout, I think the trucks say Ashley Northwest or something on them.

Trucking companies get you home when their normal operations allow, so you need to define when you need to be home and pick companies that work that way already. No driver should expect to change a trucking company to fit them, despite the bogus claims of a driver shortage. No trucking company holds a meeting and decides will we get our drivers home when they want or will we not get them home. If their customers ship freight M-F then the drivers will mostly have weekends off. If a driver needs to be off Tue & Wed and can work every weekend, but the customer freight operates M-F you shouldn't work there, obviously. Trucking companies serve their customers and they use employees to do that. Pick wisely, they don't work for you. You work for them. In the best case what they need from you and what you need from them matches. Lots of new drivers seem to think the whole world is here to serve their needs just because they have needs.

When my brother worked for UPS as an unloader, driving a package car (delivery to homes and businesses in the brown van) was almost the top of the company pyramid, not some entry-level job. Maybe things at UPS are very different now? Entry-level jobs were throwing boxes before you could even apply to get on the waiting list to drive the package cars to customers.
