Canadian employer fined $25,000 for racial slur

There is not enough room in this blob to post the problems we are having down here (Boston Mass.) area with the Asians always trying to pull the race card, they break the laws and they start screaming we are picking on them because the are new comers. I break my back to make a living and i have to pay for there health care, food stamps, rent, hell you can be illegal here and go to a state college for free. Give me a break. The other guy was right they can't drive a car, truck, or a BUS. Sorry if i offended some one but i am just tired of this crap. I really wish i had a year to tell you about it.

Politically correct? Dude, you don't have a clue who you're talking to. But you're right, I'm normally a lot more tolerant of other people's opinions. Even if they are thinly veiled and barely disguised racist "opinions". That's what makes our country great, everyone has a right to sound off - immigrants, aboriginals, and all those who are intolerant of them.

 

My only issue is the generalisation that "all" are this or that. That in itself is wrong.

 

You're right i don't have a clue as to whom i talking with,. and i think i don't care to know,. you live close by, if you,re in the trucking business , you obviously must know exactly what sort of problems i,m speaking about,.you consider my opinions thinly veiled, racist,. yet the facts as have been reported in the news etc is that racist news reporting? Religious loopholes to avoid taxes,. multiple families in one dwelling, buying trucks and entering the market with little or no experience, working for less money due to their expenses being offset by aforementioned tax breaks,.not maintaining the vehicles to safe standards, then crying racism when enforcement agencies are forced to try and correct the problem. Multiple cvor's, numbered companies,. etc, all on a revolving door type basis,. when safety records are so bad that cvors' are suspended, a new set of license plates, a different family member listed as owner with a new cvor, and business is interrupted for only a very short period of time, oft times less than 24hrs,.safety certificates issued by unscrupulous people within their closed community etc,. All practises that are common in their home country, where third world standards for safety, are incredulous to canadians. I can look at trucks, and pick out the ones that belong to
" south asian" truckers,.just by their cosmetic appearances and generally poor condition,.
Police are no longer allowed to give any description of suspects involved in a crime if the description involves skin color,.You speak of racism, it goes both ways, the certain segment of society we are talking about refuses to amalgamate into canadian society,. children are not allowed to marry outside of their own culture etc,. they deal strictly within their own community, as i stated before they have annexed their own countries here in canada,. and i don't even want to get started about the protests that cost us so much tax dollars to police, protests that are aimed at our government for problems in another country? Yet this politically correct posturing goes on at full speed, and is encouraged by people such as yourself,. When your future generations of family are unable to secure employment or live in an area they choose because they are unwelcome, then they will have you to thank. Interesting fact tho as was reported in the news, by the year 2025, the caucasion population in the GTA (greater Toronto area) wil be only 35%, making them a minority finally. That is a good thing as then the caucasion population can start playing the minority card too. Instead of being the welcome mat for all others to walk on.
There have been decades and generations of immigrants form all over the world settle in canada, most have amalgamated, have embraced canada, and cannot easily be pointed out, yet there has been over the last 30 yrs or so a new type of immigrant that wants only to make canada the same as the country they left, It,s a slow legal way of conquering by immigration. Then electing politicians to represent their unique needs and views. I,m still annoyed about the the traditions that are being eroded. I,m still not sure an RCMP officer looks good on a post card of canada, wearing a turban. What sort of message does that convey to the world about canada and its population? The same rights and freedoms are not practised in the countries where these people come from, yet they come here and exploit our constitution for their own gain.
Unfortunantly the caucasion poplulation does not produce offspring (future tax payers) at the same rate and so the politicians need to encourage immigation to secure the tax dollars.
I am concerned for my childrens future in this country,.
In 1971 my parent settled in BC, i was 13 yrs old at the time.
I too am an immigrant, but i,ve subscribed wholly to canada, its customs traditions and way of life.My parents were determined to embrace their new country fully, and their children to become canadians. Unless i told you my heritage you,d not be able to tell, That is the type of immigration i,d like to see more of. Now i,m encouraging my children to also look at emmigrating.

Original phantom 309...speak's the truth, the south asian people come to Canada and unlike the immagrint's from year's past, they REFUSE to accept the Canadian way of life, but take everything they can bleed us for. It's okay to follow your culture but don't ram it down my throat, by refusing to follow Canadian law's but to elect your own kind into Parliment just so that you can get a law changed that has worked for year's for every one else but does'nt work for them.

I am not a racist nor will I ever be, my family immagrated to Canada from the Ukraine and excepted the change's they had to make to become Canadian Citizen's, the south asian people (the majority) refuse to do so.I still have family in Ontario and I still drive over there,south asian people are the most unfriendly folk's Ive ever run into, it just kill's them to even say hello to a white person.

 

This "sheep" spent 15 years in the Canadian Army serving the country so that people like you could retain the freedom and right to voice your "opinions". You sir are 100% percent correct but if you spend any time dealing with the bad of the affore mentioned group your tolerance level changes

Gummiente : appreciate your military service and as you well know intolerance is a way of life I agrre that painting a race or country with one wide brush is not correct . I hear all the time that canadians are polite and appollogetic how is that different??

 

I hear all the time that Americans are ignorant and boorish. The difference is I choose not to believe it and judge the individual, not the race or culture, instead. I've met some wonderful people from your country that way.
