    Whatever your redacted terminology was doesn't have enough letters for it to be the name I've heard applied to said procedure.....

    @tramm01

    While you're here I have a question.

    The only cities in Idaho I hear much about are Boise and Cour d' Alene. And Pocatello, I think just because people like to say it.

    Where is the affordable housing for normal people to be found in the HO. I'm just looking for a good start point for research, in case me and Missus Skillet gotta evacuate the Buckeye.

    Anywhere that's not a four hour trip by snowcat and dogsled to the grocery store. City water and sewer would be nice, lack thereof not necessarily a deal breaker.

    A little elbow room would be slightly more important than city utilities. Thanks.

    You need a sister wife to help with the bills.

    Stopped in at an appliance store in The village of the Kirk. These places are like stepping into the Twilight Zone. I saw a sign advertising Speed Queen and wanted to check it out. Nice young man waited on me. Knowledgable and no pressure. Me and The mom were the only ones in there. Looked at these -

    So— the Ho has experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years and the price of houses has skyrocketed — especially in the named cities. Things might settle down, but it’ll never go back to what it was — just depends on what you’re after

    If my property was connected to city water and sewer I would not have purchased it. Considered that a deal breaker.

    Since I am on a well I consider it as my water bill is just part of my electric bill. And the water only costs me the amount of electricity to pump it. No "meter fee" nor extra taxes nor added charges for outflow. So long as the water is good and safe from the well, Long term, it is the better choice for responsible property owners. This does drive a person to look for about an acre minimum to have appropriate distances between the well and septic fields and sufficient room for a backup field.
