Right? He owns flats and steps…. I’m not sure he even has a wet kit?

Someone is not telling the whole story?

And he drives a red w9….

    ha!

on a vaguely related subject: anybody got any pointers on painting just the webbing of a aluminum trailer frame? Aside from “dont let the dust get in it”

Start with a good power wash and a cleaner. Have found that simple green or Zep orange citrus cleaner work very well on aluminum.
Use a scrub brush on the really nasty bits.
Most of the time, to get a good adhesion on aluminum, it needs a light surface etch. Lot of choices for those. Buy a cheep garden sprayer to apply. Some primers are “self etching” so that could also be an option. Get a good quality primer. That is a big step in painting aluminum. The better the primer, the longer it will stick and last. Also let it fully cure before top coat. Then paint for color. If you want to use a hardener or additives in the paint, plan on 2 or 3 top coats, put it in the last coat.
