I guess we ain't the only one's with junk equipment.
Got rid of our last pony trailer years ago.
I was the only one who never had major issues with it but then again I have no problem with our remaining 2 lectron trailers either.

30- I'm running that pony from the plant all the way to Grand Forks...lol

Trailer costs close to half a million. After a month runs like a used mega trailer

So I got lucky when I started work at AP we had nothing but pony motors so I got to know all the tricks of the trade. By the time I left we only had a few argon trailers that still had pony motors. Boy the newer guys couldn’t run them to save their life. Talk about job security! Lol

So according to the guy who previously had this trailer. They never used the pony motor on it. So seeming like it probably needs service. Since was told the squealing I was hearing means too high rpm. But when I pulled the throttle I couldn't get it to go higher or lower. Also gauge in the back always shown 0rpm. Also when I pushed it in. Sounded like it went straight to idle

Are there any electric trailers still out there? Supposedly a driver got electrocuted somewhere. And companies started getting rid of them.

So talked with I think the most experienced guy at the company. Trailer needs throttle fixed, rpm and etc gauges in the back working. Also abs fixed. So bringing it to CTR in South Carolina early tomorrow morning.

I swear me and any equipment trucking related doesn't mix. Atleast this time it probably has been like this before. Some driver clearly didn't pay attention or something.

Messer runs 50/50 Hydraulic/Electrans trailers. One big reason was Exxon was scared to death of hydraulic leaks on their property, another was Messer wasn't allowed to be their own carrier until this year, now they will probably start updating equipment.

Sucks when you get a full LIN trailer to offload at 205 PSi with an electrans. You'll be there 4 hours dumping that trailer.
