@Oxbow @tramm01
I had plans on hangin out in your AO Wednesday. But when I talked to the very nice lady @ IDGAF (that's probably not the acronym for Idaho Game and Fish, but it should be), she informed me that she had non resident folks camped out in the parking lot at 5pm last year, the day before tags went on sale.
So I changed my plans to Riggins. I asked the guy there if he would have a line of guys trying to buy tags, and he laughed at me.
I like Riggins too. When I checked into the Big Iron Motel the last time, I got a chocolate chip cookie and a Coors Light, complimentary. That's close to heaven right theresinglescrewshaker, TX2Day, jamespmack and 10 others Thank this. -

Final Concrete Update, and wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving Day tomorrow.
I'm thankful for getting the concrete finished on the last good weather day we had, last Thursday. A combination of Doctor appts weather and other distraction kept me from getting to it sooner, but I was able to knock out that last part by forming it Wednesday last week and forming two keylocks in case I couldn't get it all done in one go..
.so finished forming it close to dark and decided to pour the smaller side which ran into the night and was a 6 bag piece. Photo is blurry cause the wind had picked up and was blowing the caution tape all over.
Next day, I took the one keylock out and these pics show it better...
So, got busy and started mixing and pouring the larger section, which took 15 bags..and got done with it just before dark...
and decided, heck with it and pulled the other keylock and started mixing and pouring for the middle section, which took another 6 bags and change left over from the right side...and of course, that meant finishing it in the dark.....
Arghh..hit picture limit.Last edited: Nov 23, 2023

Part Deux:
So the next day this is what the pour looked like....
And I just took these two, today after form removal and clean up of caution tape and stakes.
So I'm thankful that my main summer/fall project finally got finished...in decent weather so I wasn't pouring in the snow.
Happy Thanksgiving folks!!
Edit: Forgot to mention. I over calculated ...because I ended up after buying 3 bags just in case, I ended up having a total of 9 bags left over from the original 84 and the 3 just-in-case bags....6 from the original order and 3 from the just-in-case purchase. Like I always say, though. Better too much than not enough...especially when it comes to concrete.Today's picture reflects that I took the excess back for a refund on the unused from Home Depot which was great as I'd have hated to have to throw away 9 - $5.00 bags of cement.
