Let’s reverse the situation….. so if you had the opportunity to pull a load that paid 47% more than another load that was the exactly the same would you try to tell us that you would take the cheaper load because 47% was just to much money. Also you don’t know the details of maybe what it took for that broker to get that load from the shipper do you . Maybe there were a lot of stipulations involved

That is not a solid comparison.
As I don't negotiate with two parties like a broker does.

What should be being ask is if TQL is being transparent with shipper that they are keeping 47%?

How can a broker say I'm going to get you a truck at good price and then keep nearly half the quote to shipper for themselves:biggrin_2559:

    Tb0n3 Thanks this.

Because nobody knows who the shipper is or how many loads TQL moves for them. If they move thousands of loads a year and most of the time things go smoothly I doubt the shipper really cares how much TQL keeps as long as the loads are gone and there are few headaches on their end. They can project their shipping costs out over the long term. Also keep in mind that a lot of businesses don’t have the mindset of your average owner operator who tries to have their eye on everyone else’s checkbook.

Obviously all parties at the time were in agreement and we’re fine with all dollar figures on their respective ends. If it was so bad then the lady should have left the load sit, but it must have been good enough to get her to haul it.

    The shipper owes you nothing.
The broker owes you nothing more than the rate you negotiated.
Why do you feel entitled to more money from the broker?
Spare me the “I do all the work” bs. If you did all the work, then you wouldn’t be using the broker.

This right here is what these crybabies just don't get. Go ahead and tell the shipper your broker is screwing them and taking a 47% cut off the top. That shipper would look at you and say, "Ok, what's your point. That's how BUSINESS works, and I don't have time to care what deals the man who gets all our loads moved makes with truckers"

All I said is 47% is a lot and based on comments everywhere I'm not the only one voicing that opinion.

Never said I'm entitled and deserve more money but I appreciate you making stuff up

Just made a statement 47% is a lot.

Would you say 47% is low, average or a lot?

    It's just an observation, relax.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the cascadia this morning lol
