Man, that just stinks. Don't feel bad, though, because they even do it to each other! I saw one of them inspecting the damage his trailer sustained after a fellow amigo put some speed streaks down the side. I can't tell you how badly I CAN'T WAIT until the DOT comes in slaps the ###### out of them for all of their log violations, non English speaking drivers, and non existent maintenance. Can you tell I just don't care for them??
On a side note, I'm always up for visitors - especially in that lot! Come over and say hi next time you get the chance. I was probably on the calculator trying to figure out how I was going to log all the waiting I was going to be doing that day and still get where I needed to be!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot...put some kind of identifying mark on all the marker lights on your nicest trailer. Let the mill management in on what and why you're doing it. If they go missing, start looking for said marked lights, and, if you find them, alert mill management, and together go confront the driver. THAT would be one hell of a good day!

Hi All. I see that I am not the only one going through the deep stuff. The trailer I was going to get is a no-go seems the guy decided since its paid for he might as well keep it.
HWYPilot turned me on to a company and a friend is going to look at a 99' Timpte 46x78x102 spread. Will probably be under it next week if it checks out. I am pleased to announce that I am no longer a victim of Eclipse. Took some time to do some much needed repairs to the truck, help the wife get the new house set-up and taking care of my oldest of the 3 little ones who is in the hospital. Earl wasn't happy about me taking time off and began ringing my phone off the hook after about 4 days. When I finally spoke to him and explained what I was doing as well as telling him how the DM was treating me he could care less and just wanted me running. Now since last month thier take was near my take and explained that I wasn't happy with 67% fuel cost due to extremely high DH is said "maybe you should just bring the trailer back." Well Sir that is exactly whatt I plan to do. Originally I had planned to continue to use E for loads and a couple other brokers when DH was higher than the value of the load but NOW? As they say in NY fuhgedabowdet!!!!!!!!
New head gasket, water pump, wheel seal, repaired fuel tank and my own trailer I'll be hitting the roads with a fresh start.
Need suggestions on hopper loadboards. ThanksLast edited: Mar 20, 2010

5mtF- hoploads.com ag-freight.com. Believe hoploads has the best lay out myself. Haven't used either in about 4 years but they both are hopper oriented. Best of Luck.
HwyPilot and 7mouths2feed Thank this. -
Got a real nice petro not a half mile down the road from the drop monday. Think I might go wander around tomorrow and see if I can find a new pair of boots.HwyPilot Thanks this. -

Freaking KU cant believe they missed something like 20 free throws, and didnt hardly make a 3 point attempt in the 2nd half. At least KSU stepped up, guess ill be sporting a purple hat for a while.

Good for you 5 Mouths. Hoploads is much better than the other one mentioned.
Good luck in your new venture - if you are good at the technical details of business you will be glad you decided to do the whole thing yourself.7mouths2feed Thanks this. -
