Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

We were told last month it’s a no go. Soured some people I hear.

 

The yearly bonus is on,delivers next week.

 

Finally got empty 0700 then bounced to Lemoore, Ca and of course I get the dreaded will call you when we can fit you in cuz the load was supposed to pick up last night. Guess I was the closest to load it. Hate when they just tell me to show up and hope I get loaded. Can’t believe there wasn’t anything in Vegas I could have loaded in this reefer this morning.

 

Hate when places do stuff like that.

 

Makes you just want to get there when you feel like it.

 

I've gotten full days of layover picking up from Lemoore before.

 

Thankfully not as bad as I thought it might be. Arrived 1330 and they called me at 1530 to put me in a door and started loading me right away and out 1700. I did throw up a shotgun prayer after getting back to my truck when they said they would call, maybe it worked, lol!
