Where is everyone #5

I just want bragging rights to say I rode a 40+ year old bike on a week long trip. Plus see a bunch of cool sights along the way.

 

Couple yrs ago I truck'd a brokered mower or 3 out of FL. They're in the 22k lb range, & I still only had a single screw tractor. Not enough capacity to take 2 at a time..

Well the owner watched me from the garage load & chain in the rain. He hollered for me to come in for a chat..

Said he liked my hustle, offered me $65k year salary & benefit job driving his only truck. It also entailed demo'n units to new/prospective customers, & doing shop work when not out. Didn't appeal to me at the time, frankly still doesn't..

The point of my story is I got the capacity to take 2 at a time now for the last 2 yrs. I need to Sack up & go pay him a visit. See if I can talk him into running em on my equipment vs his rental unit..

This is my convoluted way of complimenting you on going out meeting up face to face & try'n to strike up a deal.

Get in my own head & paralyzed about stuff like this..

There's a decent chance that one of us southerners would buy you lunch or a cold drink if you keep us up to date on your trip. At the very least we could be a backup recovery team if that nearly half century old cruiser gives you problems.
