I did about 900 over a long weekend a couple years ago. That was plenty for me. At least on the bike I ride…

 

Best I've done in a day so far was just over 400 km. Hoping to cover at least 800 km in a day a few times next summer.

 

That's definitely not my kind of crowd. Even if I don't get to Sturgis I wouldn't mind doing a big loop east through the northern states and pop back into Canada somewhere in Ontario. Rally's are fun but I enjoy the road more.

 

I went to a rally with my dad when I was 18. I haven't been to one since. It was the wierdest experience I've ever had. Just felt awkward as hell.

 

Get a chance ride down, I’ll take you across the New River Gorge bridge then down under it to the bottom across the river. Pretty neat experience, plus we have some good roads to ride through here….

 

If memory serves me correctly this is the bridge. You are correct about some great riding in the hillbilly.

I usually run route 60 up past Gauley Bridge and hit 16, run 16 out to route 19 which intercepts I-79 at exit 57.

When I turn left off of 16 to 19 the bridge is just a little bit north of there. I usually cross over then under and back across on north on 19 to 60 or hit 39 and run it back to Gauley river where the bus sets on a big rock out in the river above the falls, turn right on 60 and ease back towards the house.

I like it up around Cass and Greenbank too….

 

She must have otherworldly skills cuz she’s just average in the looks department. The ones I’ve seen were prettier than the women on TV. But if she can get her day rate, we can’t hate.

A neighbor is having his well loved D4 redone to leave to his grandson who has a land clearing company.
