....get my newbie butt in the right spot to maximize $$$$$$$$$$$$$?
For example, would I flatbed, dry van, reefer, hazmat, twic, Canada, East coast, NYC?
Which type of carrier, historically, pays best?
OTR vs Regional vs Dedicated vs ? (I know my choices here are limited in the very beginning, probably)

How about a little clarity on the question at hand, please.

Are you meaning which company would you make the most at, or something else?

    JustSonny Thanks this.

Sorry Scarecrow, my lead in was a bit cryptic...now that I re-read it. Let me fix it. Please get back to it. I'm really looking for answers in my own "goofy" way!

You could try hiring on with Schneider after school, work six months then switch over to tankers. The pay is better, the home time or time off is better and if you decide to come off the road you can always find something local such as gasoline to haul.
So I would say tanker, hazmat, twic, passport.
Good luck with whatever you choose.
They also have OTR, Regional and dedicated freight
