I drive for Landstar and have on two occasions cancelled loads because of language like that. I never agree to any sort of fines or penalties.
Invoicing Land Star? How do you guys do it?

Yeah my first few loads with them over 2 years ago...I was mailing it in...... then I realized that some agents on some of the Rate confirmations have the landstar transfer info on there..... I think the 4 digit code on transfer is LSTR... -

TRANSFLO and they put it on a card. I never drew cash off the card I just used that money to purchase fuel. So it became a fuel card of sorts.
Every time I hauled for them they send that check call document but depending on the agent don’t care if you call. So if it was a new agent I hauled for I would just asked them directly do you really want a check call. 90% of the ones I hauled for don’t care as long as you deliver the load and let them know if you have any issues and let them know when the load delivers. Now, I hauled quite a few landstar loads but only used a few agents because a lil birdy warned me about most of the bad ones lolol. If I encountered one of the needy ones I just never hauled for them again. -
Yes your right its LCGB..... -
Ive always waited the 30 days for payments...I didnt know they offered 2 day quick pay. So, I went to sign up for it but, it looks like I have to sign for DAT or something.....is this true?

I have been using transflo at landstar for 3 years and it works great. True about calling LS and getting an answer. There are so many departments and hold times are often high. Over all its good.
Siinman Thanks this.
