I see. so he’s in a good spot to do like St. George to Missoula round-trip. or if he grabs a regional spot he sits on for a couple months to gain experience.. he could do like Seattle to Missoula, and then Missoula, St. George.. back-and-forth or round-trip on either end and if not Seattle Spokane… there’s gotta be also like a Red Bull account that comes up from Arizona to Utah or something that he could get on.

@stingray83 really just needs knight to let him do his thing and get some experience.. I don’t work for knight so idk.. but I know that a lot of their executive staff never drove semi truck in their life. There’s even a YouTube video about it - that they knight even made themselves - where they all went on the road with the drivers for a day fir sleeper berth miles lol… anyway know some Vegas drivers said another one of knights biggest problems right in Vegas is a huge trailer lot full of missing trailers, but they’re just in the lot now just doesn’t have the technology on them to find them so someone has to actually go into the yard and find all the missing trailers but nobody wants to do it. Lolol

If Western Express will take you, go for it. You have no experience. You literally have no options because you have no experience. Don't worry about Western's reputation. It's a reputable company and will get you the experience you need. Better companies dont care about Western's rep. They only care if you have veriable experience and Western can give you that. Why are you against doing a refresher? A CDL for over 8 years and you've never used it? You might as well be a newbie. At least they are offering a refresher instead of having you start from scratch. Take whatever you can get.

Take the initiative and go talk to Parke Cox. I've mentioned previously that I spoke to one of their drivers and he said he was very happy there.
See what they say. They might recommend a school to do a refresher with. OR they might be willing to do some training themselves.
Otherwise, you might have to drive a dump truck (I'd do it) or cement mixer (I would NOT do it) for awhile.

    Good luck.
